The old adage, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure", still holds very true today. Generally, you only see your GP when you are unwell. Due to limited resources in the NHS, there is little emphasis or provision for Health Prevention. At TheDoctor Ltd this is changing... putting YOU in charge of YOUR health. At certain periods in life everyone worries about serious illnesses, so it's reassuring to know that a Health Screen can help detect many conditions at an early stage. That way they can be investigated further and hopefully treated more effectively. Even if you feel fine right now, you may still have concerns about your health in the future especially if there is a family history of illness. Many conditions can initially present with no obvious symptoms. A Health Screen is a good way to have a clear picture of your current health and helps to identify areas of risk in the future. At TheDoctor Ltd, we put the emphasis on Health Prevention by means of health screening blood tests and by identifying health concerns that you may not be aware of. We look for changes in your test results before you become ill. All our Doctors graduated and trained in the UK and are fully registered with the GMC. We have expertise from diverse backgrounds ranging from private health screening, setting up Substance Misuse services for the NHS and Sports Medicine.
